Rising at 04.50.

Mucho disturbance in the adjoining room with guests arriving c. 11.15 for conversing & television. Doors that act to link rooms for suites do not offer insulation from sound. The whirring of industrial-scale air-conditioning plant is constant, but not oppressive.

Computing. Into the Club at 07.00 for breakfast reading I…

There is an old, deep body Ovation given to me when KC played Toad’s Place in New Haven in 1982; a Fernandes 7-string; the two early Roland Synth-guitars used by Ade & myself on Discipline & touring in the 1981 Crimson; books & various other goodies I…

Then to Best Buy for excitements of the DVD variety. While browsing the shelves, The Minx called: she had a wonderful time in Bidford turning on the Christmas lights for the village, at the request of friends who have just moved there. The villagers turned out for the occasion. I would loved to have been there, but this is not to wish away my life or visit here.

Returning to the hotel for e-flurrying, computing & onward packing.
